Getting Started

In the lines below are links to various topics you will find helpful in order to join my math program.  They are in the general order you need to know them.  Click on them one at a time to get your student prepared for the math program.  Once you and he have done all the tasks listed below, you should not have to visit this page very much, if at all.

If you click on all the links below, it might appear somewhat complicated.  It's not, really, but it just gets wordy to explain all the details.  The basic idea is that we teach the lessons, the student learns them and does the HW & tests at home, and then either the teacher or parent grades them and reports them to us.  That's really it.

I have a video that explains all of this information.  It is in two parts; you should watch both: first, second.  The video can be very helpful because some of these pages below have a lot of information on them and it will easier to absorb it if you hear me talk about it.

  1. Order books: Math 87, Algebra I, Algebra II, PreCalculus, or Calculus
  2. How classes work
  3. Creating a HW account
  4. Navigating to the HW for a particular day

  9. Grade Sheet that parent uses to report grades to teacher: Math 87, Algebra I, Algebra II, PreCalculus, or Calculus: This link contains a download; it does not show a new page in the browser.  If you need to, be sure to click box that pops up in the bottom left of your browser to complete the download.
